Terms of Service

Thanks for stopping by. Before you use our platform, take a few minutes to understand the terms below — they explain what you're agreeing to.

Mozambique-evisa.com provides visa application assistance, digital photo processing, and related travel-documentation support (together, the "Services"). We are an independent service provider and are not owned, run, endorsed, or affiliated with the Government of Mozambique or any other government body. By using our website or mobile applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, which we may update from time to time at our discretion.

Some individual Services may come with their own supplementary terms, published within the relevant Service page and subject to change. Please read those alongside our Privacy Policy. Continued use of our Services means you accept all terms described here.

Using Our Platform

Creating an Account
Some parts of our Service require registration. When you sign up, you're confirming that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. Any registration data you submit is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Anyone under 18 is not permitted to register for or otherwise use the Service.

Protecting Your Account
You're responsible for keeping your password and account details confidential, and for everything that happens under your login. Notify us right away if you suspect unauthorized access or any other security issue. Always log out fully at the end of each session — we won't be liable for losses caused by your failure to do so.

Changes to the Service
We may modify, pause, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you or anyone else as a result.

Using Our Service on Mobile
Some of our features are accessible via mobile devices ("Mobile Services"). Standard data charges and fees from your carrier may apply, and not every Mobile Service will work on every device or network. By using Mobile Services, you agree to receive SMS, MMS, or other electronic messages from us. If you change or cancel your mobile number, update your account promptly so future messages don't reach a new owner of that number.

Processing Timeframes

We aim to meet expected turnaround times but cannot guarantee a specific delivery date. We're not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our control — extreme weather, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, labor strikes, or government system outages and delays.

Visa rules are set by the Mozambican government and can change without warning. We do our best to keep information accurate and current but cannot promise it's complete or error-free, and we won't be liable for decisions made based on it.

Cancellations and Refunds

At Mozambique-evisa.com, we know travel plans shift unexpectedly. This policy balances flexibility with the realities of immigration processing.

When You Can Cancel

  • Standard-processing orders: cancellation requests must come in within 1 hour of placing the order. Urgent, rush, or super-rush orders: within 15 minutes.
  • Cancellation is possible only if your application has been submitted but not yet picked up for processing by government authorities.
  • Once your file has moved to consulate review, or is under review or already approved, we can no longer accept a cancellation.
  • Orders may be auto-canceled without refund if required documents or information aren't submitted in time.
  • Applications that are canceled and subsequently rejected are not eligible for a refund.
  • Duplicate submissions can have one copy canceled before processing starts.
  • Simply changing your mind about traveling is fine — just request cancellation before processing begins.
  • If requested extra documents aren't provided in time and the application is rejected as a result, a refund may not be available.
  • We won't refund applications rejected because of inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information you provided — verifying your own details remains your responsibility.
  • Duplicate payments require proof of both transactions before we can refund; verification typically takes 3–5 business days.

Refund Conditions

  • Refunds apply when cancellation is requested before processing begins.
  • Force majeure situations (medical emergencies, unforeseen personal circumstances) will be reviewed case-by-case, depending on processing status.
  • System or technical failures affecting processing will also be reviewed individually.
  • Make sure your visa's validity matches your travel dates before applying — changes aren't possible after processing starts.
  • Wrong visa category selected? Cancellation/refund is possible only if requested before the consulate begins reviewing it.
  • Rejections tied to prior travel violations, ineligibility, or past refusals are non-refundable.
  • Refunds go back through the original payment method only.

After Visa Issuance
Once your visa has been issued, it cannot be canceled or refunded — even if you decide not to use it or opt for a visa on arrival instead. The fee remains non-refundable regardless of your travel intentions afterward.

Processing Time and Data Handling
Refund requests are typically actioned immediately, though funds may take 4–17 business days to appear in your account. Once an application is canceled, your personal data is automatically removed from our systems.

Other Details

  • A refund processing fee of $20 or more may apply, varying by currency and market conditions to cover banking costs.
  • Refunds may be reversed if issues originate on the customer's end.
  • Exchange-rate fluctuations may cause the refunded amount to differ slightly from what you originally paid.

Limits on Our Liability

You agree that we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including lost profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses — even if we were told such damages were possible. This covers situations such as:

(i) your use of, or inability to use, the Service;
(ii) costs of replacing goods or services obtained through transactions made via the Service;
(iii) unauthorized access to or tampering with your data;
(iv) actions or statements from third parties on the Service; or
(v) any other Service-related matter.

Our total liability to you, under any legal theory, is capped at ninety-nine US dollars ($99).

We rely on modern safeguards like SSL encryption and secure email infrastructure, but no system offers absolute protection. We take reasonable precautions against viruses, malware, and third-party attacks, but can't guarantee 100% security — and we're not liable for damages from a breach outside our control.

We encourage you to take your own precautions too: strong, unique passwords, caution when sharing personal details online, and staying current on safe browsing practices. Cyber insurance is also worth considering for extra protection.

Payments

We process transactions through established third-party providers — PayPal, Stripe, Spreedly, Amazon, Braintree, and similar services. We never store your card details on our own servers.

All data exchanged with these payment platforms is protected with 256-bit SSL encryption, meaning cardholder information is never transmitted unencrypted. Your payment details stay secure and inaccessible to unauthorized parties throughout the transaction.

No Warranties

You use our Service at your own risk. It's provided "as is" and "as available," with no warranties of any kind — express, implied, or statutory — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Regulatory Changes

Visa regulations can change without notice, and we're not responsible for the impact of those changes, including any resulting delays or losses.

We're also not liable for costs or damages tied to travel disruptions, changed plans, or restrictions of any kind — whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential. In every case, our maximum liability is limited to the service fees you actually paid for visa, photo, or passport processing, regardless of the circumstances or our role in them.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We may use server logs, cookies, and tracking pixels to understand how our Services are used and to improve them. You can adjust your browser settings to be notified when cookies are set, or to block them altogether.

Third-Party Data & Analytics

We use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to better understand usage patterns. We may also receive information about you from external sources, including social platforms — for example, if you sign in or register using a Google or Facebook account.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We hold onto your information only as long as needed to deliver the Services, unless you request changes or deletion sooner. Once its original purpose is fulfilled, your data is securely locked down in our systems, retained further only to:

  1. Support or defend legitimate claims related to any affiliate or contractual relationships.
  2. Meet our legal obligations.
  3. Complete investigations into suspected fraud or illegal activity.

Cookie-related data is kept until you withdraw consent. After the applicable retention period ends, your data is permanently deleted. You can withdraw consent for data processing at any time, and we'll act on deletion requests promptly.

When We Share Your Data

We may disclose your information in these situations:

  • During a business sale, merger, restructuring, or similar corporate transaction — including due diligence beforehand — and with our affiliated or related companies for purposes aligned with our Privacy Policy.
  • With trusted third parties who perform specific functions for us — such as visa agents liaising with embassies, database management, mailing services, or payment processing — always under appropriate data protection safeguards.
  • With your consent, to other third parties as agreed.
  • Where legally required, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to meet a legal obligation.
