What is the Mozambique eVisa/eTA?

The Mozambique eVisa/eTA is an online travel authorisation that allows eligible travellers to enter Mozambique for approved travel purposes.

The eVisa/eTA is obtained prior travelling to Mozambique and will be checked by immigration authorities at the port of arrival.

Mozambique eVisa/eTA Application Process

Fill out the eVisa/eTA Application Form

Select nationality and provide passport, personal, and travel details, then choose the available visa type.

Upload Documents

Select a processing option and upload all the required documents. More document requests will be communicated to the applicant.

Pay Visa Fee Online

Pay the visa/eTA fee using a credit or debit card, PayPal, cryptocurrency, or bank transfer (available upon the applicant's request)

Receive Approved eVisa/eTA

Once the processing is completed, the approved Mozambique eVisa/eTA will be sent to the registered email ID before travel.

Note: Submit eTA application atleast 48 hours before departure.

Mozambique eVisa/eTA Application Requirements

The documents required for Mozambique eVisa/eTA vary depend on the type of eVisa/eTA applied for and the applicants age. 

Common requirements for all applicants include: 

  1. Passport-Bio Page Scan 
    • Submit passport-bio page scan. 
    • The passport must be valid for 6 months. 
    • Ensure you scan the complete page.
    • A wrong submission will require resubmission. 
  2. Passport-Size Photograph 
    • Recently taken, reflecting the applicant's current appearance.
    • No filters, editing or enhancement. 
    • Neutral facial expression. 

Dual Passport Holders

Dual passport holders must apply for the eVisa/eTA using the passport eligible for the Mozambique eVisa/eTA. 

Note: Travel with the same passport you used for the application. 

Mozambique eVisa/eTA Urgent Approval 

To obtain a Mozambique eVisa/eTA urgently or immediately, the applicant must select:

  • Rush Processing: Faster application processing taking 5 - 7 Working Days to issue the eVisa or eTA 
  • Super-Rush Processing: Fastest application processing, taking 3 - 5 Working Days days to issue the eVisa or eTA. 

Important Note: Both rush and super-rush processing require the applicant to pay an extra fee.
