Documents Required for All Mozambique eVisa/eTA Applications

For Investment eVisa/eTA Applicants

A Mozambique Investment eVisa/eTA is available to applicants with an approved investment project valued at a minimum of USD 500,000. The following supporting documents must be submitted during the application process:

  • Police Clearance Certificate
  • Medical certificate
  • Nomination letter
  • INSS Clearance Certificate
  • Finance Clearance Certificate
  • Commercial license
  • Approved investment project documentation
  • Invitation Letter
  • Employment Contract

For Sports or Culture eVisa/eTA Applicants:

  • Invitation letter
  • Credential issued by the relevant authority:
    • Ministry of Culture (for cultural activities), or
    • State Secretary of Sports (for sporting activities)
  • Proof of financial means

For Crew eVisa/eTA Applicants

  • Terms of responsibility from the inviting party
  • Letter from the agency requesting the visa
  • Crew Card

For Humanitarian Work eVisa/eTA Applicants

  • Invitation letter
  • Police Clearance Certificate
  • Medical certificate
  • Credential issued by INGD

Additional Requirements for Minor Travellers

For minor travellers, the following additional documents are also required:

  • Identification document of the parent or legal guardian
  • Letter of responsibility from the parent or legal guardian

Important Conditions

Proof of Financial Means

If requested, provide bank statements from the last 3 months showing at least USD 1,000 in available funds, or recent salary slips.

Document Translation

Police Clearance Certificate and Medical Certificate must be translated into Portuguese before submission.

Eligible Passport Type

Only travellers with an Ordinary Passport can apply for a Mozambique eVisa/eTA. Diplomatic, Service, and other passport types are not eligible.

Invitation Letter

If an invitation letter is required, it must match the purpose of your visit and include the relevant details for your selected eVisa/eTA.

General Eligibility Criteria

The Mozambique eVisa/eTA is available only to citizens of approved countries. Confirm that your nationality is listed below before starting your application.

Information Required in the Application Form

During the online application, you will be required to provide the following information:

Personal Information
First name, last name, gender, date of birth, country and place of birth, nationality, marital status, and occupation.
Passport Details
Passport number, passport type, issue date, expiry date, issuing country, and issuing authority.
Home Address
Country, city, postal code, and street with house number.
Travel Information
Purpose of visit, address in Mozambique (province, district, location, street and house number), expected date of entry, travel mode, and vehicle or flight details.

Visa-Specific Information

  • Business eVisa/eTA: Type of applicant (Legal Entity, Public Entity, or Individual).
  • Investment eVisa/eTA: Investment amount (minimum USD 500,000), type of activity, and place of investment.
  • Sport or Culture eVisa/eTA: Type of activity and place of activity.
