Documents Required for All Mozambique eVisa/eTA Applications
Passport Bio-Data Page Scan
- Passport must be valid for at least 6 months
- Entire page visible, including all four corners
- All details fully readable, including the MRZ
- No black-and-white, tilted, cropped, or blurred images
- No cut-off text, watermarks, or fingers covering details
Digital Applicant Photograph
- Plain white background
- Face centred with space above the head
- Neutral expression; no smiling or showing teeth
- No spectacles or headgear
- Do not crop the photo from your passport page

Depending on the selected eVisa/eTA type, applicants must provide the following additional documents in addition to the common requirements listed above.
For Tourist eVisa/eTA Applicants:
Those applying for a Tourist or Business eVisa (as an individual applicant) must submit the following documents:

For Investment eVisa/eTA Applicants
A Mozambique Investment eVisa/eTA is available to applicants with an approved investment project valued at a minimum of USD 500,000. The following supporting documents must be submitted during the application process:

For Sports or Culture eVisa/eTA Applicants:

For Crew eVisa/eTA Applicants
- Terms of responsibility from the inviting party
- Letter from the agency requesting the visa

For Humanitarian Work eVisa/eTA Applicants

Additional Requirements for Minor Travellers
For minor travellers, the following additional documents are also required:
- Identification document of the parent or legal guardian
- Letter of responsibility from the parent or legal guardian
Important Conditions
If requested, provide bank statements from the last 3 months showing at least USD 1,000 in available funds, or recent salary slips.
Police Clearance Certificate and Medical Certificate must be translated into Portuguese before submission.
Only travellers with an Ordinary Passport can apply for a Mozambique eVisa/eTA. Diplomatic, Service, and other passport types are not eligible.
If an invitation letter is required, it must match the purpose of your visit and include the relevant details for your selected eVisa/eTA.
