If you are applying for a Tourist eVisa/eTA, you must provide:

Business eVisa/eTA Requirements

When applying for a Business eVisa/eTA, you must select your Type of Applicant in the application form. The required documents depend on your selection.

Applicants must demonstrate an approved investment project with a minimum investment amount of USD 500,000.

  • INSS Clearance Certificate
  • Finance Clearance Certificate

Sport or Culture eVisa/eTA Requirements

  • Invitation letter

    • Ministry of Culture (for cultural activities), or
    • State Secretary of Sports (for sporting activities)

Crew Business eVisa/eTA Requirements

  • Terms of responsibility from the inviting party
  • Letter from the agency requesting the visa

Humanitarian Work eVisa/eTA Requirements

Additional Requirements for Minor Applicants

If the applicant is a minor, the following documents must also be provided:

  • Identification document of the parent or guardian

Important Conditions

  • Applicants required to provide proof of financial means may submit bank statements from the last 3 months showing at least USD 1,000 in available funds, or recent salary slips.
  • Criminal registration and medical certificate documents must be translated into Portuguese, the official language of Mozambique, at the time of submission.
  • Only holders of an Ordinary passport may apply for the Mozambique eVisa/eTA. Diplomatic, Service, or other passport types are not eligible.
  • All submitted information must match the details shown in your passport.
  • Incomplete or inconsistent documentation may delay processing.

First name, last name, gender, date of birth, country and place of birth, nationality, marital status, and occupation.

Passport Details

Passport number, passport type, issue date, expiry date, issuing country, and issuing authority.

Home Address

Country, city, postal code, and street with house number.

Travel Information

Purpose of visit, address in Mozambique (province, district, location, street and house number), expected date of entry, travel mode, and vehicle or flight details.

Visa-Specific Information

  • Business eVisa/eTA: Type of applicant (Legal Entity, Public Entity, or Individual).
  • Investment eVisa/eTA: Investment amount (minimum USD 500,000), type of activity, and place of investment.
  • Sport or Culture eVisa/eTA: Type of activity and place of activity.
